Voluntary Fire and Life Safety Self Inspection Program

Voluntary Fire and Life Safety Self Inspection Program

The Clackamas Fire Self Inspection Checklist is designed for low hazard, commercial occupancies such as offices, grocery stores, banks, barber shops, mini-marts, clothing stores, print shops, etc. that are interested in taking a proactive approach to their business’ safety. The established checklist is made up of common Oregon Fire Code violations that local fire inspectors identify during Fire and Life Safety Inspections. Not all of the fire code violations within the checklist will apply to your business.

The Self Inspection Checklist is not an all-inclusive list of every potential safety concern but highlights many of the common issues found in businesses. Our goal is to make this process easy, informative, and user-friendly. There is no need to submit anything, just print the document and review the list of common hazards while you are conducting yourself inspection.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about items you identified on your inspection.  You may fill out this form:  FMO Request For Service. A Fire Marshal’s Office representative will reach out. You may also fill out this form if you would like the office to have up to date emergency contact information for your business.
