On the site since 1973, Station 4 was rebuilt in 1999 and serves the Lake Road, Westwood, Johnson City, and Webster neighborhoods, as well as the Milwaukie Expressway and the I-205 freeway.
The station houses Paramedic Engine 304 which is staffed by nine career personnel that work three separate 24 hour shifts. Each shift has a company officer (a lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and a firefighter. The station also houses the North Battalion Chief (Battalion 302). Three battalion chiefs work three separate 24 hour shifts.
