Station 3 was originally built 1940 and rebuilt in 1997 to seismic standards and protects the Aldercrest, Jennings Lodge, Oak Grove, and Oatfield Ridge neighborhoods.
The station houses a total of 15 full-time personnel. Three personnel (on each 24-hour, three-shift schedule) respond to incidents utilizing Engine 303. Two personnel (on each 24-hour shift, three-shift schedule) respond to incidents utilizing Medic 303. At least one crew member per shift is a paramedic capable of providing advanced life support (ALS) treatment. Each shift has a company officer (lieutenant or captain), an apparatus operator, and a firefighter on Engine 303, and each shift on Medic 303 has two firefighters.
