Project Description
Clackamas Fire replaced all SCBAs with units that meet the National Fire Protection Association standard. Upon acquiring the SCBA units, firefighters extensively trained with the new units in April 2017 before they went into service June 2017.
The SCBA is an essential piece of firefighting equipment that provides respiratory protection to our firefighters, while working in toxic environments. Firefighters wear SCBAs to perform the duties of our profession at structure fires, hazardous materials and confined space incidents.
