For over 50 years, Operation Santa Claus has been a beloved Clackamas Fire tradition and our goal remains the same: to spread holiday joy and give back to local families in need. We’re proud to say that we are entirely funded by community donations.
Operation Santa includes two main efforts: our holiday parades and our food & toy drive. Read below for more information.
Parades
This year, we’ve planned five different parades in neighborhoods across the community, beginning the first week of December. Below, you can find more detailed information on dates, times, and locations, as well as our Santa Tracker.
Our Santa Tracker will help you determine the parade route closest to you and learn when and where firefighters and Santa will be making their way through your community. (Please note that we’ve received feedback that the tracker can be slightly delayed, so plan accordingly.)
Important reminder: As Operation Santa has grown, so has our approach to collecting toys and donations. We will continue to not collect donations during the parade.

Food and Toy Drive
Our donation drop-off events will be located throughout the community, beginning Saturday, December 6. You can deliver donated food and toys in one of two ways:
At one of our drop-off events, or
To one of our verified community partners, listed below.
In partnership with the community organizations listed below, donations can be dropped off at partner locations during business hours from November 17 to December 14. Clackamas Fire will also host several drop-off events, with dates, times, and locations listed below.
Donated toys must be new, in original packaging, and unwrapped. Food must be non-perishable.

Where can I drop off my donation?
- Between December 6 and December 14, five donation drop-off events will be held throughout the district at various locations.
- There are community partners throughout the district that will accept donated toys at any time during their regular business hours.
- Dates, times, and locations of drop-off donation events and collection partners is listed below.
- We cannot accept donations during the community parades.
Where will the parades be this year?
We’ve planned five different parades in neighborhoods across the community, and routes can be found using our Santa Tracker. Operation Santa parade routes can change each year, so be sure to confirm 2025’s routes with our Santa Tracker.
Do you accept financial donations?
Yes! A tax-deductible donation can be made to the Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation, a non-profit organization associated with Clackamas Fire. The Foundation is a tax-exempt organization formed under IRC 501(c)(3).
To make a donation to Operation Santa, please mail a check made out to the Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation, listing “Operation Santa” on the memo line, and mail to to: Clackamas Fire c/o: Clackamas Emergency Services Foundation, 11300 SE Fuller Rd., Milwaukie, OR 97222.
