Project Description
Clackamas County’s emergency radio system was becoming obsolete and it was crucial to upgrade the emergency public safety communications system. The previous analog system was converted to current digital technology. The system is comprised of base radio equipment, towers, buildings, first responder radios, fire station alerting systems, all of which was upgraded. The 800MHz radios for firefighters were upgraded, which allows them to coordinate incidents, request backup and give aid to victims.
