Apartment Inspection Program
Each year Clackamas Fire conducts a fire inspection on all multi-family housing buildings that have more than two units. Single family residents and duplexes are not inspected.
The inspections consist of the building shell, common areas and the outside property. Individual apartments are not inspected.
The purpose of Clackamas Fires apartment inspection program is to educate apartment owners, manager and tenants about fire and life safety in order to improve the safety of apartment complexes and to decrease the loss of life and property. Through education we strive to increase resident and owner knowledge of apartment safety, why safety is important and that we are all responsible for not only our own safety but for those around us.
