Strategic Plan
Much of the fire district’s success can be attributed to our commitment to common goals shared by all fire district members. These goals are outlined in our Strategic Plan. The fire district has been guided by a strategic plan for over ten years now, and we are currently working on an update to guide us in the future.
The fire district recently conducted a survey and evening meeting of community members to gather input on the services we provide.
This information was presented to our Board of Directors at a special work session on September 8. The Board members used this information as guidance in preparing revised mission, vision, and values statements for staff to use in further development of the ‘new’ strategic plan.
32 fire district staff members met for two full days on September 10 and 11 to analyze input from citizens and our Board in order to transform the information in to goals that we will use for the next several years.
